In the summer of 2011, I had an odd and nagging symptom; as i got out of the bed and took the first step, there used to be shooting pain at the lower part of my feet. This was diagnosed as Plantar Fasciitis, a condition where the ligament connecting the heel and toe hurts when you walk or run. I used to have an active lifestyle and regularly run in 10 km marathon, this condition of the foot was imposing restrictions on this activity as also simple day to day activities including travel which my job demands in abundance.
